Also wondering this. Sign Artist was working fine until this most recent wipe as far as I can tell. Now all my players just see "Your image was added to the download queue."

After starting up a modded server with a new host for the September wipe, I am having issues with Sign Artist as well. I have probably invested more time in trying to resolve this on my end than I should have, but everything I have tried could at least help someone who knows what they are doing properly identify the problem. First, I get 3 errors that I can see in the console. The are associated with both Image Library and Sign Artist. The first is : [Sign Artist] Cannot resolve destination hostCannot get headers from:signartist.ignoreowner The second is: [Sign Artist] Could n[Sign Artist] Could not get content length from:https://www.dropbox And the 3^rd error is: Image failed to download! Error: HTTP/1.1 429 Too Many Requests.

The 3^rd 429 error happens for a few images being pulled by the Skill Tree plugin through Image Library, as well as when I try to use /sil in game to load a sign with an Imgur direct url link. The in-game message shown in the console is that the image has been added to the download queue, but nothing actually happens, which is why I am posting this under this thread.

The 2^nd error is achieved after attempting to call an image using Dropbox instead of Imgur.

After much searching, I noticed some people are experiencing the same issues after the monthly game update, and I figured maybe when I set up the new server, something might not have been quite right. So I opened a ticket with my host and they assured me it was not on their end at all. I opened a ticket with Imgur and have not heard back from them for over a week now, and probably never will. I have opened a Dropbox account and after ensuring the images were publicly reachable, that did not fix it either, which ruled out just Imgur being the cause. My server Header and Icon are both Imgur links, and they display perfectly fine.

I did add the Copy-Paste plugin into my server for running Raidable Bases, and as I copied over some saved structures, I noticed that some pasted buildings included signs that pulled the Imgur images like normal. I thought this was a significant clue.

I saw posts by users saying if they went back to version 1.4.1 of Sign Artist, it would work. Maybe this was more related to their older data file than the plugin version. I tried v1.4.1, and it did nothing.

Yesterday, a more competent server admin than me launched a locally hosted server, grabbed Sign Artist, set the permissions, and I was able to instantly use it to paste an Imgur hosted sign.

I am now more baffled than ever, and knowing it is not an issue a lot of people will even be aware of, I wanted to add in my tldr version in the hopes something can be patched on the plugin side. The alternative is spending $50 to $150 a pop trying out different server hosts until I find one that this plugin works in, which is a frightening proposition. And since this is likely something the Rust devs have changed, even a new host might not work out for the next wipe’s changes.

I use the Monument Addons plugin and it’s prerequisites also, and since Sign Artist is integrated into it, I lean on it heavily to put up signs that survive daily server restarts and Steam/Oxide updates.

And in case it make any difference, I am using Cybrancee as a host on a 20GB server with the max cores thrown at it. They are using a version of Pterodactyl for their game hosting panel, which a few hosts do use (Pine Hosting, etc.), and I don’t know if this has any impact on this issue vs. hosts that use TCAdmin or are just locally hosted.

I was doing some more digging, and noticed Remover Tool was also throwing 3 errors during compile in relation to pulling images from Imgur. I went into the config and removed the image links for economics and severrewards on lines 121 and 122. If you happen to need them, you can probably replace them or add copies to your dropbox and link them, making sure to change the =0 at the end of the link to =1. The crosshair png link is on line 192, I made my own crosshair png that was 48x48px and threw it on dropbox, made sure to set it viewable to anyone with a link, and copied the link and pasted it between the quotations on line 192. I changed the end of the link to =1. You can probably just copy the original crosshair png and add that to your dropbox also. I saved the Remover Tool and reloaded it. Somehow, not throwing an error allowed Sign Artist to work afterwards, but again, it will throw up a white box with a question mark unless you change your image link ending to =1 when you use the /sil command. I should mention that I have also done all this using 1.4.1, and now that it is working, I don't want to mess with it :)

Could be because imgur is no long avaliable in the country of your server

The server is hosted out of Portland, Oregon. And Imgur actually still works, some of the plugins I run are still grabbing images there. I think it has more to do with the host's server setup and the 70 or so plugins I am running.
