Hi!

I am having an issue with my server where sign artist was working fine, used it for months now. Then last night it decided to loose all the sign images, the all went blank, and not the "?" blank, just blank. I have tried reintalling the mod by removing it and its config file, then re-uploading.
I get the "Image was successfully loaded to the sign!"

Our server has the same issue. We get the "Image was successfully loaded to the sign!" message, but signs stay blank.

I think its a RUST issue. After looking into it, I cant see normal painted signs either. Thanks for getting back to me and letting me know i am not alone in this lol!

same thing here. but i can manually paint signs. so should not be related to rust. probably some issue with addon

Dunno i am the only one that cant see them lol. Its painted signs too. Others are having this issue and its happened before a few years ago after an update. We wil have to wait for them to fix it i think.

Yes and no. I fixed it when I moved the game to my SSD... by re-downloading it there. So it's a local issue, however, after about 30 mins it happened again. I then went into the local game files (Files stored on my PC to do with RUST) and removed anything to do with the word "Cache" or "Image" or "Local" then re-verifyied the game files via steam. It downloaded a few 100 files and BOOM! It has worked ever since.

Not very scientific sorry, but it worked for me at least. Hope this helps!

Try setting this option like this:

"Enforce JPG file format": false,​

Usually people would use .png format, seems more popular
and it will work

Having same issues. Nove of the above fixed our problems. It says Added to the queue "then it says" The image was successfully loaded to the sign!

Yeah mine is broken again, I think the "Fix" i surgested above was a coincidence. Thats not it fake, we cant see normal painted signs either.

Yeah i can see paintet sign. And when i use sil it says added to queue then suc... added to sign. But its just blank.

This seems to have fixed it on our server for now

So my solution to this problem was to manualy download the libgdplus thingy. on my windows server 2016. may help others aswell
