403 when trying to load URL imageSolved

Greetings,  i am set as admin and have all permissions, but cannot get an image to load by local file or URL

but i cannot get an image to load via a url which it say i do not have permission (  /sil https://sonsofweed.co.uk.images/weedy.jpg "failed to download the image! Error HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" )
or via local file  (sil file ///c:/rustimages/pork.png   gives   " you do not have permission to use images from the server's filesystem )

I would assume i am missing a permission but for the love of all that is holy i cannot find it

any help would be apprieciated folks

Looks like you're missing a slash in your URL, but that error is with your site, not the plugin.

i can put the url in browser as https://sonsofweed.co.uk/images/weedy.jpg  and it comes up in browser no issues,  just wont display in game and giver the forbidden error. I have tried with the extra slash and its the same.   i have linked the image on other sites etc and it displayed.

Its not working on local file either  ( i put copies on the server and on my pc too )

Sounds like something on your webserver is blocking the connection.

ok, so no idea what that is then so via url is a no no.

Any idea how to get around the permissions on local file? it says you do not have permission to use images from the servers file sytstem?
i have a server running windows and ive tried putting the images both on my local machine and my local server ( two seperate machines, 1 one i game on and the 1 that has the server on )

that should be working but it isnt

Have you tried alternative image sites? For the filesystem usage, you'd have to grant that permission as shown on the plugin's page.

i will try alternative hosting tonight,  all pemissions mentioned on the plugins page have been granted

That sir i did not notice in the plugin page,  and that instantly cured my issue with the loading from local file.

I am indeed in your debt sir,   my humblest gratitude

i is a happy man :)
