Sharing bans to RustAdmin database?Solved
I run my own server through Bluefang.  I have been using the RustAdmin tool, and have realized that there is basically no support since oxide changed to umod.  I have never really bothered myself with sharing the bans, but recently recieved 2 EXTREMELY toxic players on my server that felt doxxing one of my admins, blasting their personal information as well as ridiculing their disabled child was particularly funny.  They went as far as stealing this childs pictures from the admins social media and blasting it on discord, mocking him there after I banned them from the server.  How do I share their bans through the database with other admins?  Is this done automatically?  When I look at the list it says no under shared bans.
You seem to be trying to garner shock and sympathy with all these details but the facts are that your admin posted his personal info online, accessible to the public... and then not only decided to play Rust but be an admin as well. Is he surprised by this result?

I have to agree with JimDeadlock, I sympathise with any anquish felt by the admin BUT anyone who links a game server with social media is asking for trouble, far too many players are in the <15YO bracket and dont care who they offend in fact the more they offend the better they feel, No one on my server knows who the admins are (unless they read these forums) and all punishments/rewards are done through RustAdmin rcon. And there is no link from my server to ANY personal information. There are programs you can use like punkbuster that share bans. BUT any information that has been displayed doesnt go away.
First, you should have an account in RustAdmin, log in with it in the "Ban" section, after that and when banning any player, it will automatically list their names in the RustAdmin database.
If you want to do it manually, right click on the name of the banned player in the "Ban" section, and you will see "Share Ban", click on it.

RustAdmin is a very simple and helpful tool with decent features, but as you said, there is a lack with support.
Everyone has assumed that this admin had their information linked.  They did not.  That is where most of the confusion began to begin with.  As we did not know how the 2 involved were able to gain the information. We still have not been able to figure it out. I did not post the details in order to gain sympathy for them, but to explain my reasoning as to why I want to share to the database when I had not for the past 6 months.  Thanks to several private messages, I was able to figure out how to do it last night and they are now shared on the database.  Thank you everyone for the information in assisting me figure this out.
It doesn't matter if it's "linked". If that information is posted anywhere online or if it's casually mentioned in a conversation at some point, that info is then on the internet PERMANENTLY, and it's only a matter of time before someone will abuse it. This is what today's generation doesn't seem to grasp. People spew their personal information to the world on social media or chatting to "friends" online and then wonder why things like this happen. The only thing anyone knows about me online is my username.
