What command are you trying to "bind" exactly? If you use "oxide.grant" in any way and it says "unknown command", then you do not have Oxide installed.

i guss i have a few plugs and i am trying to set up my server but having problems with oxide g-portal and i guess the plug in binding to groups or making groups. not really 100% sure what i am trying to do or how i am supose to do it hence i was fallowing the doc to a T lol. i am retired military and use to reading teck manules

and all the plugins are also uploaded to the server threw the same way in the plugin folder in the oxide folder of the dedicated server.... oops just saw that there is 2 plugin folders in the server file. one is dedicated server and one is actualy new under the oxide folder. let me re dew all this and see if that makes a difrence.

okie dokie i did have them in the wrong file and now they are in the right file, and second i figured out what you were trying to tell me. sugestion you may want to explain the two parts better in the doc for us that done read code so well. like what the parts mean before and after the . cause i was lost for a while till i finaly figured it out. the first part is the plug in command and the second is the group the group right?

If you are using the Permissions manager plugin to get the permissions for plugins sorted per rank, then you should not be entering the commands in Rcon.

funny thing is i cant get Rcon to work
but second i am a little un sure what part or even how to use json with the plugins and the server. i have probly a pin prick of knolage of coding and its all reading understanding what part does what to mod for the games i am making a mod for and changing the alredy made code.
i have a few that i have to change in json. do i load the plugin and then change the code line prameters or just the sections?

ow and one other thing i found that new people spawning in to the server arnt automaticaly in the defalt group and i have to add them. is there a plug or command that auto puts them in the defalt group?

You may have some things mixxed up, they should go into the default group without a issue.

There is no "defalt" group, there is the "default" group. Not sure that such a bug exists.

Ended up he made a few kits and assigned them to "default" rank, but then players joined and could not receive that kit he made for defaults.

Turned out, he needed to allow the Default Ranks to be able and receive the kit, ya gotta enable the permission for it.

Anyways, it's all sorted and he is on he way to making the next greatest Rust server anyone ever saw.
