To be fair, that compile is a bit temperamental, which we will be replacing it soon hopefully. Are you still having the issue?

I had this exact same error:
"Compiler may have been closed by interference from security software or install is missing files
Error while compiling: compiler version disconnected"

I didn't see a solution so I thought I would post.

I am running a local host.
My compiler.exe is located with my server files.
I removed the plugins and tried them individually and the same thing happened to the one i wrote and to the ones that I got off of UMOD.
I had no problem in starting up RUST the regular way.

These last two told me that my Oxide install was broken.

I reinstalled Oxide and the problem was resolved.

Oh, one other thing.

At one point I removed all plugins and tried BetterChat to see it fail

For some reason I had a plugin without a name in my plugin folder its name was ".cs"
Dont know if that is what broke it but thought it may be important.
