Primitive server

I'm totally new to hosting a server and Oxide, and I'm trying to figure out how setup a primitive Rust server. I've hosted a server through Gameservers and I've read about and downloaded an ftp client, which was totally new to me, and now I'm trying to figure out Oxide. But I can't find a single plugin that will allow me to host a primitive server, yet I've seen primitive servers in the past. What plugin should I use? What is it called?

I hope someone can help me! :)

If you mean "Every one like in stone age runnin' with crossbows and other antique stuff" - https://umod.org/plugins/component-blocker#documentation Just block every item but those you need.

Gameservers is primitive. If you can drop them and get a refund asap. 
It will start crashing with just 2 players.
Gameservers is just a cash grab company.

Is this common knowledge that most people will agree on, or is it based on personal bad experience? :)

Never tryed GS personally since russian VDS providers' price tag is around $9 per month for 1C/4GB RAM, but from what i've seen on this forum/oxide/many others - gameservers are real trash. Choice is up 2 u tho.

Common and personal knowledge. I have tried then twice through out the yrs. They will not get me a third time.
