Hi sorry for the noob question but i am a noob at this server running lark . but i did a steam update this morning as there had been an update to rust and i think my server wiped beacuse of it . i say this beacuse currently only i can get on the server as it is passworded while i develope it and i did have a base built on it but this morning after the update it has gone. yes i had 6 days worth of materials in it .

so my question is basicly did the server wipe due to update and if it did is there a way of preventing server wipes with updates .

Generally the first Rust update each month is a forced wipe.

aww ok so how would i stop my server from being force wiped ?

Basic answer.......you cant.
I did run across instructions a while back somewhere to attempt to reload an old map and save.

Best bet if you are worried about builds use the copy/past plugin.

Before an update just copy the building then after wipe get on new map and paste the building back.

Search for the copy paste plugin for more info on it.

Ok ty  i was more worried about consecutive quick wipes ie  i have my server set to wipe every 28 days but if a force wipe occured say 2 days b4 that then i wouldent want another wipe 2 days later.  how often are these force wipes ? if they are monthly i may aswell remove my sheduled wipes
