Access to RustDedicated_Data\Managed\x86\mono-2.0.dll is deniedNot An Issue
So i have recently opened a rust server beiing new to this it has come with alot of problems, i have spent days installing plugins and confiiguring them to work so its 5x....

i have numerous other mods, but today after hearing about the force wipe i was pushing on to finish the final touches so the server was ready for the wipe, anyhow... once doing this at roughly 6:15pm GMT tonight i was getting errors and no plugins were being loaded, "so i proceeded to do a server update" this was fine and all went well... even though there isnt a rust update out on steam yet i imagine you can update servers sooner? correct me if im wrong. anyway, i then after the server update went to uninstall oxide and reinstall it so i got the most recent version, when going to reinstall it i am now getting the following error

(lon1) 2/7/2019 7:24:53 PM Searching for a file source 2/7/2019 7:24:53 PM Downloading file from URL... 2/7/2019 7:24:53 PM Downloading file (23%) 2/7/2019 7:24:53 PM Downloading file (100%) 2/7/2019 7:24:55 PM Access to the path 'C:\TCAFiles\Users\conorg\6314\RustDedicated_Data\Managed\x86\mono-2.0.dll' is denied.

now i have no idea why, but this is this and currently this idea of a server being up and reeady for all the people waiting is becoming dull..

SOMEONE i beg, please help

this would be much appreciated! thanks!

That error indicates that your server is not setup properly, specifically with permissions to those files. I'd suggest contacting your host to make sure the server is installed properly under the user running your Rust server.

Ok, but is there a reason its just happening? is there anyway this could be because of the current incoming rust update?

No, it's a filesystem permission error meaning that the user running your server doesn't have access to those files.

Would you come and look at the server? and see if you can see a issue?
I can't sorry.
