I love using the boombox, but the conected speaker sounds like ass and you can only sync up 3 boomboxes together which go out of sync when you leave and comeback. Is there a plugin that just has the boombox quality of audio out of the connected speaker? Or adds Audio in to the boombox and just use it as a passthrough of a single boombox
Bonus: Maybe something with more station options or streaming? This one im sure is much more difficult compared to the original ask
Better Speakers/Boombox plugin?
boombox quality of audio is handdeled by the client. nothing a plugin can do to inprove it.
So you can't give the Connected Speakers the same quality sound as the boombox? I mean, the connected speaker is clearly adjusted to sound tinny. I am not talking about upgrading boombox audio quality, but either replacing the audio quality of the Connected Speaker with the same as the boombox, or just adding an audio in/out option on the boombox to make it passive like how the connected speakers are, which would then fix the syncing issues of the boomboxesRazor

no cause the client sees its a connected speaker and acts acording.

Sorry for bumping this, but curious. Since the audio portion is client side and that can't be changed, do you think it is possible then to be able to look at a boombox and do something like /setpassive and it will turn the boombox into a passive variation that changes the power in input to a shared audio/power in like it does on the connected speaker and then we can just pass the audio through the passive boombox? This would fix the sync issues and it can just play whatever source it is fed. Or change the toggle power option to be audio input instead
Merged post
or i guess even just adding a new connection port to the boombox for Audio In that makes it act like a p[assive speaker when that input is used
