Rocks spawned with "spawn" in F1 don't stay after restart

Hey all. I recently made a custom map, and I missed a small error in the terrain that people could fall through and die. I fixed the hole with some admin rock clutter, but I had to restart it because of a plugin error, but when the server started back up, it was back to how it was before. I even saved the server too. Am I doing something wrong or do I have to redo it every time the server reboots?

The map is cached, so you have to give it a different name when you change it. For example MapName_v5

How would I do that? Since it's ingame 

Upload your new/updated map to your host, with a different filename from your original map with the hole in it. Then change the 'server.levelurl' link in your startup parameters to the new map.

Wouldn't that wipe the server? Anytime I change the map name or do ANYTHING to the map it wipes everything.

Yes you would want to back up your save file and rename it to the new map.
