Sentry.maxinterference it does not work

in the bat file I have always used the command sentry.maxinterferenceradius 60 so as not to limit the turrets to 12, with the update it no longer works

There's no such thing as sentry.maxinterferenceradius - you are getting these mixed up:

sentry.maxinterference
sentry.interferenceradius

Yes, I spelled it wrong, those command lines no longer work, has anyone solved it?

Setting sentry.maxinterference to a high number does work (I tested it). You have to unhook one of your power sources and reconnect it to reset the turrets.

My turrets do not require power so that "fix" does not work

Have you tried removing one of the turrets or making some kind of change in order to trigger the sentry.maxinterference update? I think it just needs a nudge to make it check the sentry.maxinterference setting.

I have deleted turrets and replaced them at a slightly different spot and it still only lets me have 12 turrets (with counter showing on placement) , even if i unload/remove/replace a varied amount i can only replace them up to 12

You can use the plugin of nivex for disable interference
im using it also and works perfect
its only disable it with the plugin
Its not posseble to change the range or ammount with the plugin only disable the interference completly

Which plugin ? , I could not find a turret one in his list

i drop the plugin in my dropbox to download
you need to set in the config the player turrets to true and reload the plugin
than the interference is disable
no disconect and connect of the turret needed or a restart of the server is also not needed

So I came across this same problem, and stumbled onto this thread looking for answers and thought I'd share what I found since I try to limit the amount of plugins I use.

The "+sentry.maxinterference XX" command wasn't working for me, so I tried entering it in the server command line (ie. sentry.maxinterference 50). This changed the max number of turrets from 12 to 50.  Of course, on server restart, the setting goes back to the default of 12.

Next I created a server.cfg file in my "rustserver/server/server name/cfg/" directory and only have the one line of "sentry.maxintereference 50" in the config file.

Restarted the server, and poof... max turrets are now showing as 50. Any turrets above 12 that were connected prior to doing this, still showed they were shorted out. I disconnected the power, reattached it, and all turrets went live. Reset the server a few more times to test, and it would appear the setting is held at 50, and all turrets are live with none shorted out.
