I shceduled a wipe through my hosting provider and choose the option to wipe the map and not the player data. When I logged onto my server I had all the items in my inventory I had before my server wiped.
Could this be because I am admin or because I am using the backpacks plugin?
If not could someone please instruct me what files to delete to wipe inventorys.

Wiped My Rust Server and Inventory's Were Kept
One of the plugins can save inventories and restore them after a reboot. Only if it is necessary to delete the folder "data" in "oxide".
I advise you to just make sure that saving the map with the .sav extension is deleted

Some of the plugins store their data in the data folder. Therefore, it is better to delete specific files for specific plugins. It’s better to do this when the server is turned off, if you don’t know how plugins work with data

It is not possible to say what the solution to your problem is without having access to data your server

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing this probably has something to do with it. Maybe check your other plugins also because it's certainly plugin-related one way or another.

Why you not wiping the players when wiping the map?
