I downloaded the server and extracted the oxide files into rustds. But when i launch the server the plugins are not in the server and the command oxide.version doesnt work. Im completely new to this so any help would be much appreciated. (dedicated server btw)

If plugins do not load and oxide.version does not work, Oxide is not installed. I'd suggest re-installing and make sure you do not have any scripts running Steam to update again.
