Server running, but stopped broadcasting? Help Please

Hello. I run my own dedicated server from a remote pc in another location (my work office). A week or so ago we had a power outage (maybe related?) and since then, or near that time, my server will not broadcast (can't see the server online).
I have done all the usual things:

  • Updated game and oxide
  • re-checked ports 28015, 28016 & 28017 are open on the router
  • Made sure the firewalls allow server.exe etc.
  • Even tried a fresh new server setup
But still it doesn't broadcast....
My only conclusion is that something is blocking the "in & outs" communication so thought it had to be a "network issue"?

So I set up a dedicated server on my personal gaming rig at home and I'm having the same problem..... I can see the server is running, I can join it "locally" (client.connect) but it does not show in the list or broadcast (for want of a better word?)..... So it can't be a blocked IP as I have now tried from work (50 miles away) and home pc.....

Its as if its running an older Steam version of the game or something?
I have made sure its right up to date with steam.cmd / force_install_dir blah blah...  app_update 258550, updated oxide etc.

Can anyone offer help? Happy to donate if someone can fix......

1. Not sure if you properly port forwarded everything fine for your home server but if it's done properly you should be able to see it in the list. Same for the office-hosted server.

NOTE: keep in mind that servers with 0 pop are hidden from the list by default (before you gonna say THAT'S UNFAIR) FP did this on purpose to reduce the server browser being spammed with empty servers and you have to toggle Show empty servers while in the server browsers and refresh to show every server. Then search for your server and then add it as favorites. Then every time you visit fav. tab will be listed even if show empty servers are not enabled.

In case you still do not see the server listed after doing everything from 1. and NOTE:, please visit FACEPUNCH API (find blacklisted IP's) and CTRL+F your IP. If it's blacklisted write an email to Facepunch, I just think blacklisted is not the issue here because you have the same issue on both servers under completely different IPs and Network ranges...

Also there might be other issue I am not familiar with, maybe others can also try to help you...

Thank you Flammabable.
Although I had already done everything you say in 1. The ports are definatly opened.
As for part 2 or NOTE: I understand that and have done as you suggested also. Still nothing.
Blacklisted IP: that was what I was thinking until tried it from my home pc..... I am purplexed. But will check out the blacklisted Ip's all the same.

Anyone else with ideas?
