Dedicated rust server can't connectSolved

So I made a server for me and some friends and i have made rust serveres before with and without plugins but this time i did it on another machine i built and i can't connect to it myself and neither can my friends

check port forwarding on your router !

If you read the post i have hostet before with friends and i know how port forwarding works

well if the server is up and running yet you and your friends can't see it or connect to it. it's more than likely down to ports or internet security software blocking access to it.

I can't connect to it via localhost so that is still not the problem

Scrub the server and try again then, don't ask a question then bite someone's head off when they offer a possible solution.

It can ONLY be a corrupt install OR blocked ports. if YOU cant even connect to it on a local network!

You said you are running the server on a separate machine, you only use localhost if you are connecting from the same machine the server is running on. And you shouldn't be offended about your intelligence in hosting servers if you can't even connect to your local server, but that's just my opinion.
I bet your problem is you ignored the Windows Firewall prompt about allowing outbound connections...
Or if you have multiple routers between the server and the internet either get rid of the extra routers or configure your network properly.

I diden't get offended if he just read what i wrote he woulden't say something that stupid

"(...) and i have made rust serveres before (...)"    does not mean    "I know how port forwarding works"
