Howdy All,

I have seen plugins which allow the admin to locate and wipe every item that a person owns when that player is banned. I fortuately have not had to ban many people in my time as an admin, however as my server population keeps growing I find a few people I have had to not so politely ask to stop logging into my server. I am not searching for an item that will allow me to find all of their items so I can properly remove them from the server. Any help would be appreciated.

There is one that I know of.  It's called "BanDeleteBy"   It does this automatically when a user is banned.  How are people logging back into your server if you banned them??  Make sure to ban by both Steam ID and IP so they don't just create another account and come back.

I suppose that when you look at the odds of another person trying to log onto the same server (out of 4000+) from the same cyber cafe it looks pretty reasonable to me. I also ban ip's if they are supremely stupid, i use RustAdmin and have never had any problems banning anyone

I believe there is also a console command for this if you don't want to rely on a plugin to do it .    Verify before you try it but I think it is "deleteby <name>" without the quotes and <>.

And you most certainly CAN ban by IP in Rust.  Simple command - banip followed by the IP address.
