Good server hosting?

Hi guys,
I have been running a rust server for some times now, but I was not able to find a good provider.

I had ovh but at some point the server was no longer listed (it was not blacklisted), now I am with a provider that laggs a lot.
Anyone have a good provider to suggest me for a dedicated server?

Thanks in advance!

Honestly id definitely say ovh is the best for your money. Most other options are way more expensive from what I have seen. So personally I use them. But I guess maybe Hetzner could be good as it is super cheap. I just don't know if they have ddos protection etc... Maybe they do idk.

it depends on what country you are in ,
on checking OVH site (in Australia) i find that there are no Australian data centres listed, Also $A161 a month is to expensive (for me) ,
Multiplayer for instance (who i do  not  recommend) are available in Australia but your paying someone in England, and no full ftp control and slow , not very reliable support.
You need to find a server host that has a datacentre in your city and support from there, which gives you FTP access and control and a good support team, and a reasonable cost.
I have been with Streamline for 5 1/2 years and have had some minor difficulties but they have been resolved very quickly, I have full FTP access and a reasonable cost.
Others will of course have their own opinion ,

Usuaklly I would recommend GTX but as of lately Ive just noticed things going downhill. I mean I would recommend GTX if your running a vanilla or super lightly modded server... but heavily modded with a large/custom map with 15-20 players youll start noticing issues. Im trying out ServerBlend as it was recommended from another server owner I chat with and so far they seem to be holding up but Ive only had them for a few weeks

Hello razor,

have you changed your host or is it reliable and stable for ServerBlend?could you make a comeback when you have time ...We plan to change host to take a dedicated server and we hesitate on which to choose ...We don't have a lot of players (but new ones are coming) but a lot of plugins (130+)

@Tanki Hey we moved over to ServerBlend and they have been working great for us! We did have to go for there 12GB plan but the server performance has been great. for having that many addons would definitly using there 12GB or more of RAM of you might get bottled.

Hello again. So like a month ago I spent probably a week trying to find the absolutely best hosting provider for your money. And I have found it. The best by far is soyoustarts game servers. You won't get anything better for your money. The servers are perfect for rust.

not sure about that, while ago before I took own server with ovh directly i was strugling to find ovh reseller....

Honestly I still sit what what I said before. I think GTX is great for starting communities or communitys just dipping into some games but I do definitly think ServerBlend has been better for us. With this I run about 140 addons, with several that log to discord and we used to get about 15-25 players (currently 10-15).

The initial question should also include where that person is  as it will make it easier to give a more rewarding answer !

I had a look at ServerBlend and while the prices are just a little more than I pay there is no Premium plan for Sydney Australia, Their maximum ram is 20 (on standard or premium) which is only 4gig more than i am using now and all prices are in US dollars with no quarterly or yearly payment plan,
I use Streamline which has excellent server support and the price is reasonable which i can pay quarterly in A$176  , for 50 players , HPGS Plus high cpu priority and is located in Sydney (as i am) their maximum is 32g ram. with real time cpu

The problem now is that the ram usage for the game is getting really bad with the ever increasing entity count which can go up 3-5thousand a day, I start the month off at 56k and 6gig ram which steadily increases and is now at 316k using 11.50gig and that is with twice daily restarts, very low pop (sadly) and using Entityreducer plugin ,
I am using 89 plugins (used to be 95 for over a year)  but have found that even with removal of plugins which i suspect of entity increase the rate still steadily climbs up,
