Oxide Update FailureNot An Issue

Hey guys! So I thought I'd give this a go and open a thread about this just for any advice whatsoever... but basically I have a Rust Server bought at a Server Host but for some reason whenever I manually install Oxide I always seem to get this error...

20:54 [Error] Error while compiling: compiler version disconnected
20:54 [Warning] User running server may not have the proper permissions or install is missing files
20:54 [Warning] User running server: service
20:54 [Warning] Compiler under user/group: service:x:1024:1024::/opt/service:/bin/bash/service:x:1024:
20:54 [Warning] /opt/service/rust/RustDedicated_Data/Managed/x64/libmonoboehm-2.0.so.1 is missing
20:54 [Warning] /opt/service/rust/RustDedicated_Data/Managed/x64/libMonoPosixHelper.so is missing

and have no clue how to fix it... since I have checked this File Directory and both files do seem to exist.

If anyone has any idea on how to fix this,
Please let me know!

Your install doesn't appear to be complete. The files missing are mentioned in the error, which should be in the zip provided by Oxide.

That is exactly why I'm confused. Since they are present in the directory which is being mentioned here. https://gyazo.com/90dfffeefa7633911fadf04a0801d853

You appear to have uploaded Oxide as root, and your user running the server is not root.

Hmm... so how could I fix this? Like how do I upload not as root

You'd need to make sure to upload as the user running the server. You generally shouldn't be using the root user at all.

open a ticket with your server host, I have found that most of them are very helpful , what host are you with btw ?

Managed to fix this, thanks for the help guys!
