I'm yanking my hair out here....

I originally installed the PlayerRankings plugin and ServerRewards plugin and created some different groups (like veteran / initiate...etc.).  I've decided to just have the default and admin to keep things simpler, but no matter what I do I can't get rid of these other groups. 

I've deleted PlayerRankings / ServerRewards.  I deleted the groups via commandline and confirmed with command oxide.show groups that the groups are no longer there.  When the server restarts, the groups reappear.

Any ideas?  This is driving me nuts

Just tried again for the hundredth time.

oxide.group remove veteran
save

oxide.show groups  confirms group is gone
retsart server, group is back

IF you used BetterChat to install groups go to the BetterChat data folder and delete the groups folder then delete BetterChat and reinstall it to get the default  groups again, Also make sure you deleted the Oxide groups data folders, and *maybe Oxide users data as well .

BetterChat was bringing them back.  Deleted groups via BetterChat and that stopped it.
