So, having an issue that to me, makes absolutely no logical sense, considering my server's console is not going insane or spamming anything:
I check the perms for the Rust plugin 'Bgrade', to see what group has it:
So this tells me, no player has this perm specifically, the only group that has it is vip1, makes sense right?
Now, why the heeckkkk does this make sense when I run this command straight after?
- This makes no logical sense.
I can keep running that command non stop, and it will continuously revoke the perm, that apparently it doesn't have 0.o
To me, something very wrong is happening, and I can't figure out what could be causing this. The weird thing is, it doesn't happen with perm: bgrade.1 - 3, but bgrade.4 has major issues. Something simple is messing with my time and effort.
Anyone else had this happen/ have an explanation?
Group doesn't have permission, but can revoke
- Oh, and I though it was something to do with parent groups etc. but It's not, I've made fresh VIP groups, and it's still happening, tried logging off whilst running revoke commands so that no one is on the server, still happening
Do you have any group inheritence setup for the default group? If not and the permission isn't actually being used, I wouldn't worry about it.
Yeah, like I said in the last part of the post, I setup parent groups, and thought I did it wrong, so I deleted the VIP group, and started fresh, but it was still acting like it had a parent group. I might delete the oxide groups file, and start fresh with permsWulf

You'd need to remove the parent for the default group, which is not done when you remove the other group. Use empty quotations to reassign the parent of the default group.
