Public IP Static

Hi, I have a rust server and the problem is that the public IP changes me every so often.

How can I make the server list get the IP from the NO-IP program?

Currently I have the public IP of my ISP and the one that gives me NO-IP, I want rust to take only the NO-IP, because if not when I change the IP to people it does not appear.

The server list will automatically re-list your server when the IP changes, it has nothing to do with no-ip. It can take time to refresh each time, you just have to wait, there is no way to force it.

Takes about 30-60mins for the server list to detect a IP change if you dont restart the server.

Alternativly you could just contact your ISP and get your IP setup as static.

With my ISP they were happy to do that for $5 a month.

But if you change your IP, won't people disappear from favorites?

My ISP does not allow to set a static Public IP in any way

You are confusing yourself with this No-IP business. No-IP updates your domain record so it matches your current IP. The Rust server list has nothing to do with your domain name, it directly detects your current IP whatever it is. I think your players will still have your server on their favorites after an IP change but I'm not sure. There's nothing you can do about it either way.

Long story short, there's nothing you can do about any of this. Your IP changes, the server list updates. That's it.
