So it's been sitting like this for an hour only with a custom map any idea why?

it's hard to say from just that exactly, but a freeze during map generation generally indicates the map is invalid

1. maybe download/transfer failure, try self-hosting the file
2. if you are hosting it, try downloading + reuploading the map again
3. check the file permissions and ensure no other process is using that same map at the same time.
4. finally, potential conflict between the map and the "Ocean Patrol Paths" map generation algorithm.
