Hi,

Our server's console has been spammed with the message "User tried to check DLC license but not authed" for a couple of weeks, referencing the same player every time.

Tried looking it up but couldn't find anything on it, anyone had this issue before?

Im getting the same exact issue with a new player. No clue why I'm getting it.

We asked our player to verify game cache, which he did and it didn't work. He was reporting being unable to craft certain DLC items. He re-installed his game and this fixed the issue for about a week but it has started happening again

We still haven't found a solution to this. It is still happening with that one specific player. They have tried to resolve the issue, obviously it isn't noticeable to them so we have stopped asking. They re-installed completely (deleting everything Rust related) and still got the same issue. Not sure if it's tied to their Steam account since I don't think they've tried connecting on another machine.

I would say if using RCON tool like Rust Admin just block the message from showing up as long as this spam isnt affecting server performance. Other then that I would suggest at the start of a wipe try deleteing the servers steamapps folder then running the complete rust (server) update then reinstall oxide/other custom dll's and see id this helps yous
