I wanted to ask is if there is any plugin/command that would allow me as a server admin to place waypoints or text on a (G) map so the players can see it. Im trying to create an npc and mark him on the map with a dot, text or both if thats possible.

You can put vending machine markers on the map, with text yes. This would be a nice idea for a warps plugin, that also shows the warps on the map.
