Is there a way to disabled the new Tech Tree? I don't like it and not want it on my server, please help.

Given that its now so integral to the game i doubt it or at least not without breaking something else. Why would you want to disable it as then it will mean players will always have to find an item to be able to research it which can make it very hard for some people.
Maybe by stopping players from opening workbenches. Can't use the tech tree if you can't click on it.

Was thinking about this. You can probably prevent players from opening workbenches by marking them with the flag BaseEntity.Flags.Busy.

ya that would work but then stops you from picking it up.
