There has been a update earlier today that might have fixed the issue, you can try updating the server and see if it still happens.

Is it you that is having the problem or another player. I found as well as a server restart you need to restart your game client as well.
how do i restart my game client? i am having issues and another player in my server. its a really small server.

your rust game client i meant. Quit rust and exit steam completely, when you restart it it should download the newest rust update as Mr Blue said. There is also a oxide update to install on the server so you should shut your server down and run the steam update on it and then the umod update to make sure you have the latest versions.
trying all of that again. steamcmd said rust was up to date. i closed out of steam and there are no new updates for rust as far as the player side of joining the server. i also re-downloaded and installed oxide update. trying one more time. also, when the players on my server join another server it gives them the rpc blueprint failure. mine is still giving rpc techtree and hasnt changed from that

Also still getting this Error, this is just a massive pain, every few updates there is ALWAYS something.
They say it's not worth to hotfix? I say it is, obviously people are still having this issue.
You would think things like this wouldn't get pushed into the game without proper testing first but here we are. Sick.

and reinstall the server

Nope, you're not doing anything wrong. I'm still having these issues with a fresh installation, and with oxide not installed. Facepunch has already confirmed it's an issue with the patch, however we'll see when a fix comes out to rectify the RPC errors.
Ideally, they should have pushed a hotfix by now but unsure if they're doing that.
Vanilla works fine for me.
This error doesn't have anything to do with Oxide. The issue was addressed by Facepunch after their initial update this month via a hotfix update.

Not exactly true, issue still exists when you wipe a server, after you restart it once after a wipe then the errors go away, feel free to test it.
