Moving my server to another hostSolved
No, just copy the files and your map will be just as you left it.
Backup and move the following files to the new server,
- player.blueprints.3.db
- map.sav
- bans.cfg
- oxide.groups.data
thank u <3
Move oxide folder (if you don't need logs, don't), your server identity (wherever the .sav and .map files are), specifically .map, .sav, .db files, cfg folder and .. the rest, why not.
Changing ip address is a server killer for established player bases.
try to never do that, but if you must you must.

It is very true, I had issue with players , usually lasted with shared server hosting company about 6 months ... just enough to have 50-60 players online and than always something was going wrong, I personally think using to many resources ... so had crashes , lag and other issues and starting loosing players... and again... new company... hard work again to get players ass they usually do not follow to new IP... and just 3 weeks ago again... but this time dedicated server... big money :D big opportunieties.... will see how it goes...
Buy a domain for $10 and use that instead of giving out the IP address, then you can change it whenever you like without consequences.

How server get registered in rust? By IP or domain? If someone add server by domain and IP change , will he still have that server in favourites?
