I already have a custom weather plugin developed by 2CHEVSKII that records the server time of day and weather conditions (as reported at the center of the map) and writes those values to JSON on a configured interval. I currently use this data for PvE website and Discord integrations. I'm trying to be proactive in regards to the weather changes that are coming and adapt this plugin accordingly. I have spoken w/ 2CHEVSKII and, unfortunately, he has IRL obligations that will render him unavailable for some time. He has given his blessing for others to help in his stead. So, I'm looking for someone to help adapt this plugin and its functionality to utilize whatever changes that are coming w/ the weather2 system. Ideally, I'd like to keep the functionality the same, I just need someone to help ensure it functions correctly going forward.
However, based on existing commits, it seems like biomes may even have their own independent weather conditions. I'd like to test those circumstances and possibly have multiple weather condition readings from around the map versus one central one, so that weather reports are more accurate to cardinal zones. This is an optional task obviously, as keeping the plugin functioning as-is in the new weather system remains the top priority.
