Fishing villages/trails not included on Rust:IO maps
I always used to use the playrust.io map generator to figure out what map I'd like to use on my server for the next wipe. However I noticed that after the last two month's updates, the maps are no longer matching the in-game generated maps, as they don't show where the fishing villages or the new trails are generated.

I do notice that when you're running the Rust:IO plugin on the server, the maps generated on the server list do include the fishing villages/trails - but as I'm a community server, I've been told the Rust:IO plugin is against the community server-rules, so I've opted not to use the plugin itself.

I know that there's RustMG.io which is updated to include trails/villages, and I've been using that as an alternative so far, but I don't like the appearance of the map and monuments on there and would much prefer the Rust:IO appearance.

Does anyone know when this would be updated?
the trails/villages are not part of the map they are server generated i beleve so would not show up on a rust io map.
The map roads and the villages do show up on the map, I have not zoomed the map in far enough to check whether the trails are showing as there would be no point in it, there is no specific icon as yet for the fishing villages so there is a placeholder "?" icon there with the name showing when you move the mouse over it,
I doubt whether you can use this map anyway on a community server as it would change game experience, I also go through the maps on the RustIO webpage to choose one for the new wipe and have found that except for custom maps they all show monuments and roads.
This is a random map which was the first on the map list (i am not playing this map)

After a closer look at the map i can see that there are "main" roads and fainter "minor" ones

If you read my opening message clearly, I do mention that if you are running the plugin, they do show up. I'm a community server so I can't use the plugin.

I use the map generator to find a map seed I'd like to use on my server, but when you're looking for a map to use and use their map generator, the generated maps that are not connected to a server running the plugin do -not- show the fishing villages or the trails.

Although it shows monuments, the location of them is different between the live versions and the generated versions (or the location may be where a monument spawns, but it's a different monument spawning there compared to what was generated on playrust.io).

Then how come RustMG.io is able to do it? I just don't like the way they display the map and monuments, I much prefer playrust.io looks - which is why I'm questioning why it's not updated.

RustIO "generated" maps are not "live" maps and if you pick one to play with (after a wipe) it will warn you that it is not live and you will not be able to see yourself/friends/enemies on the map, as far as i know it will not show heli or airdrop plane either so they are useless to me, After using it and changing maps for every wipe i have never found a difference in the "shown" map and the map i am using, i can see my progress on a spare map "monitor" !  on average that will be 12 maps a year so a minimum of 60 maps with no problem,
There have been game changes where there have been missing monuments but that has been rectified within a few days.
I dont see the point in looking at a generated map if it does not show the monuments and also dont see the point in the plugin being changed because of that, There are hundreds of maps to choose that do show them so why dont you use them ?
