Looking for server host with specific featuresSolved

Hi there,
There is a host that I planned on using but didn't fit all of my features that I am looking for.  Does anyone know of a rust hosting company that offers:
  • Scheduled Wipes
  • Scheduled Restarts
  • Automatic Updates (not scheduled but automatic) This feature is the most important due to if I am not on for force wipe, the server will still be taken care of

  • Scheduled Wipes = you set that yourself when you want your server to wipe
  • Scheduled Restarts = you can set this on most hosting companies or with smooth restart plugin
  • Automatic Updates = you wont find this anywhere.

Your post was not helpful at all since there are tons of sites out there with automatic updates, but thank you for your time :)

Your post was not helpful as you were not clear in what you wanted updating? RUST, Oxide or plugins? If there are "tons of sites" then what is it you are wanting your questions have been answered?

"You won't find this anywhere" Next time you should probaly ask than if I wasn't clear I apolgize for the misunderstanding. I am just stating this is for a community and people may actually think this is true when its not. Like I said thank you for your time, this is closed.

it is also a MOD website so I assumed you were asking about auto-updating RUST OXIDE and PLUG-INS.  So as I stated  PLUGINS cannot be auto-updated as often the RUST monthly update can actually Break MODDED servers. plugins may need to be removed or re-updated and enabled.  This past week was a great example, "Spacesuit Anyone"
Auto update a Rust vanilla server YES
Auto update OXIDE YES
Auto update PLUGINS NO

It's not really possible because there are few things:

- How to pick a good seed? Lets say you have a seed that is missing crucial monuments like launch side or excavators. So you would have to have very big maps to be safe. So its best to always preview mapseeds before wipe and dont just pick them at random
- How do you do oxide update after server update? If you update server before oxide then oxide doesn't work and you have no working plugins.
- What if you get another oxide update shortly after? Does server shut down again to update again?
- What happens with plugins that have to be compatible with current server/oxide builds? This wipe was an example of some plugins being pre-updated. They wouldn't work on previous version of oxide. And some plugin updates will wipe the config or data file which results in broken plugin functionality.

If it was possible to do everything completely automated everyone would do it. Maybe its possible on vanilla but if you run a modded server with plugins you just always have to be there to make sure everything will work 100%. And you also have to carefully monitor what exactly is happening with every update so you understand what you are doing. If you do everything automated and thing this will make it succesful you are in for a bad time because your players arent gonna be happy with losing important plugin data etc whenever an update happens.
