Despite regular server.save and write.cfg's throughout the day, restarting or quitting the server seems to always result in a massive rollback of days. This usually happens when force quiting the server via the server host's (low.ms) control panel (TCAdmin). When I use the 'quit' command via rcon or the F1 console, the server shuts down, but starts right back up.

Is there a way to shut the server down without rolling it back or starting the server back up automatically?

you need to log into your TCAdmin control and stop the server from there.  not sure why it should be rolling back for days at a time it should really roll back to the last save point. ?

That is because most panels kill the server process, not shutdown properly.

I tried helping someone that has the same problem, whenever he restarts through the control panel it rolls back many hours or even days, I'm not sure why it's not rolling back only a few minutes equal or under the saveinterval, unless the host is stupid and restores a .sav backup every time it crashes (restarts) the server through the control panel.

Could this be caused by a plugin? I couldnt see how but is it possible that a plugin is interfering with the restart/shutdown?

@runescape which server host does that other person use? Is it possible that this could be an issue with some newer version of TCAdmin that the hosts may have updated to?

What is messing with my head is that this only began happening late last month. Before then, it was working just fine albeit a rollback of half an hour to an hour.

Check your server config how frequently is your server saving
