Rust:IO: Failed checking for updateSolved

Hey @dcode my Rust:IO started having the following error and is failing to load after my midnight restart just now. Things were working fine prior to it trying to query for an update. Any ideas?

03:03 [Error] Rust:IO: Failed checking for update (Exception: update failed: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.)

ah, that was it. Thanks for your time! IIRC, it normally updates itself? Otherwise, is there anywhere I can monitor for updates and/or releases to avoid this in the future?

It typically updates itself, yeah, unless there are major breaking changes in Rust or Oxide that require a full update. 2.17.0 was released a while ago and mostly fixed Linux problems, so I guess Windows admins might have missed it. There's no better monitoring mechanism than obvious breakage at the moment, unfortunately, but you can try to make your server's startup script automatically download the latest version before launching the server.
