I use "client.connect 80.65.242.254:28015". ive port forwarded but when i connect with my public ip on my local network and host its says connecttion attempt failed! ive tcp/udp 28015 and 16 inbound and outbound rules on firewall! So please try and connect and tell me if it works? :)

You need to connect with localhost or your local IP address when hosting behind a router, don't try to connect through the server browser or external IP.

ok. what if my friends join through my pubic ip? will the same error occur?

Players outside of your network would need to use the external, public IP.
