I own and operate 2 rust server. Hosting it from google cloud ip 34.93.150.43:28015 and 35.244.7.253:28015 .. Both are displayed over battlemetrics
And I can join using ip an my friends too. But it is not showing in list. I tried every possible way that could be possible what is happening with?. {meanwhile I covered every session from portforwarding to firewall, with no antivirus, re installation of my windows, everything.} but all my efforts in vein. I almost gaveup hope in operating server .. Now need your help to run my server and appreciate myhard work in developing servers..

i contact facepunch....  they told me this " Sorry we don't offer any server support here.  I can tell you those IPs are not blacklisted.  I'd maybe recommend the server owner community:   https://umod.org/community/rust "

Daaaammmnnnn bud ease off the caps lock key.... YELLING (or appearing to yell) is more likely to push people away then to actually get help.

 

I personally dont know anything about cloud hosting thru google so I cant really help you there. But you state tht you cant join using the IP... what error does the game give you? Also you showed a screenshot of your server showing up in your ingame list... so its somewhere.... Rust is a littly finicky when searching whole server names... like to find my community you have to search "Wise" but if you search Wise Dragons none of our servers would show up...

So I was able to find Hyper's server on my client, With enough time I was able to also find his community test server, however I wasnt able to find his regular community server..

Hyper's servers are hosted thru Google Cloud servers in India (sorry I forget where exactly tho he litterally just told me 5min ago XD). I am based in the US on the east coast.  I was able to full join his modded server with no issues (other then double messages because of a conflict between Better Chat and Coloured Messages).

I recommended removing the "," between each word in his server name as I know Rust can be a bit finicky with server names?
