Just to verify before I attempt to do it: there was an additional day-after server update released this morning from FP. Can I update my server and still use 2.0.4346 or will there be a uMod patch later today, too?

There's no guarantees, but it was an optional update. We will be releasing an update for it soon, so I'd suggest waiting for that if you feel the need to have the very latest. ;)
