As above players disappeared from oxide groups after update/wipe, oxide dara files did not change size, no errors, all work as should apart issue above. It happened on one of my servers, all other run OK.

If the players/groups aren't actually there, then someone would have either removed them or they were removed or corrupted. I'd start by looking at plugins you use that work with groups and modify them.
5 exacly same configured servers, groups are there, tags are there, just players gone. When I copy oxide data files from other server it all work... but files which need to be on this one will not work.
Also when try load files from backup ( I always do one before update) they will not work as well.

Did you try to restore the files while the server was running? That will not work if so.
No, I always stop server and did transfer via http://ftp...
Simply re installed full server from scratch, copied files from yesterday ( just oxide.covalence.data, oxide.groups.data, oxide.lang.data, oxide.users.data) and 0 players in all groups. Size of files are correct, Never seen that before. No errors in log. Groups are ok, perms are ok, tags are ok.....

How exactly are you checking the groups?

One of my players says he doesn't have his [VIP] tag anymore, yet he is still in the VIP group with all the permissions. I did the same as miesku, updated server and copied over oxide.covalence.data, oxide.groups.data, oxide.lang.data, oxide.users.data from the pre-update server install that I had a backup of. So far, my one player is the only one to mention it.
Tags are provided by plugins such as Better Chat, not from Oxide. I'd suggest checking your handling there.LoneWolfAU
