Deprecated hook warning in RustCoreNot An Issue

Seeing these errors repeatedly in the server console:

'RustCore v2.0.4315' is using deprecated hook 'OnActiveItemChange', which will stop working on Wednesday, 01 January 2020. Please ask the author to update to 'OnActiveItemChange'

You can ignore them, or update to a build from our CI on AppVeyor if they bother you.

Hi, I don't know where to post this and it's probably not an issue but I'm getting these warning after the update, I've update Oxide and Rust:IO.

I cant find this plugin, is it part of oxide?

It has to be updated yet i'm unsure how.

People got kicked for packet flood because of this I think yet im not sure how to solve it

All hooks are part of Oxide, but I doubt that would have caused a packet flood for your server.

Hi there i cant use any rcons except for the one that comes with the bot and i get this errors

the 'double deprecated hook call with OnActiveItemChanged' "build" seems to supersede the linux build.. will 4314 fix this error? or it's fine to use 4316?

no one said anything about rustcord.. how do I get build 4316 but for linux?

the oxide.rust.zip artifact wont work for linux im sure correct?

im getting the same thing with RustCore. I am pretty sure that is the first thing you get when oxide is installed. And also i had a problem with packet flooding, are you spawning the Bot Test thing? that was causing it for me to get kicked

I read that you can ignore if but i dont really know the reason. Also if you get an error every 10 seconds in your console it can be hard to ignore for alot of people so I understand their concern.

But will this error show up every 10 seconds untill the new year then? Without a way to fix it?

No, as mentioned previously, the RustCore warning is fixed for the next build which will be released when tested a bit more; the actual deprecated warning will show for outdated plugins though until they are updated.
