Disconnected: invalid packet: user informationSolved
Updated to uMod 2.0.4300 last night and immediately when I click the 'Connect to Server' button, I get the error: "disconnected: invalid packet: user information"

I rolled back to 2.0.4297 and no longer have that issue. This is the first time I've seen this particular problem.

Normally, as an admin, as soon as I click 'Connect to Server', I see "IP:Port / SteamID64 / Playername has auth level 2" in my server console. With uMod 2.0.4300, I do not see this message in the console and the connection immediately fails with the above error.
I just tried to join my server.....same exact thing. Guess I need to roll back as well.
There were no changes in Oxide though, so would be unlikely from our side. The difference between the versions you are using is the patched Rust files from the Rust update. I'd suggest making sure your server is fully updated though.
Just confirmed the issue I was having.....is that, late last night I had only updated Oxide to the new 2.0.4300.....but I did not update the server.

Just went back and updated Server as well as Oxide 2.0.4300.......and all is right with the world again.

Yes, per our changelog:

I noticed that, but there was no mention of anything from @playrust or @rustafied anywhere that I could find. I apologize.

If you aren't sure if a game server has updated, looking at the "public" branch here is a good indication: https://steamdb.info/app/258550/depots/?branch=public

You shouldn't be rolling back, but just download and install as you normally would. The solution here is to update Rust and update Oxide; using mixed versions is what caused this issue (server not actually being updated.) "Rolling back" is just going to give you the same Oxide files essentially, just an older Rust version.

OXIDE has been updated to 2.0.4300.
Next, invalid packet user information is displayed and you cannot join the server.
It will be resolved if you downgrade to 2.0.4297.
Hello.

Do you have information from serverlog?
AAAAA

Your server is not fully updated, you have Oxide updated but not Rust; so you're mixing Rust versions.
thanks too much
