So yeah. That's a thing. Do I just not update the server? (I haven't been) Or do I use the Development builds?
Rust updates and OxideSolved
Unless an Oxide update is released, I'd generally suggest waiting for one before updating. Optional updates are not always patched for right away, as we often are working on putting other things (such as hooks) into it as well.
Gotcha. I figured this was an optional update. It was just that I saw another post about the Bradley not moving and I got a little concerned.
any way for us pesents to know for sure if we need a new oxide build with the new server update?
Pretty much every game update needs a oxide update, so just wait for oxide to be updated before you update the server.hunted5

while that usually is the case, last wipe the last optional update did not need an oxide update in fact. We have no real way of knowing?

Every update should be updated for Oxide, as you're ALWAYS going to be modifying Rust files; so if you don't update, you'll be downgrading Rust files. So best to wait for an Oxide update, even if optional.
Well, that's not totally true... because updating oxide will override most updated game files meaning you basically revert the update when installing oxide. Hence why I adviced to wait for a Oxide update to be pushed before updating.
