Using symbols in chat?

Some servers have symbols in chat however when I copy paste them they dont show up

Things like: ☠

Any idea how you are able to do this? Some people have it in their steam name too.

The symbols available in Rust's chat now are limited, so it would depend on which symbol you are trying to use.

I know that ☠ was possible as I used it a year ago. I don't know what has changed but not working now for me...

The Unity asset used for chat in Rust was changed to one that doesn't support as much in terms of symbols, color names, etc.

Generally by trial and error, I don't think there is a complete list anywhere.
