Remove structure

Probably pebkak. but issued the /remove s. aimed at a building swung the hammer. server died......

must have been too far away and missed the target or something seems ok now

Merged post

/remove this time stood right in front of a door

Does it kill the server every time?
I have not found this issue.

I am experiencing this as well.   Player crashing the server every time hitting a specific piece of foundation.

Talking about this permission, this is an admin permission, right? (removertool.structure)

Try /remove all , its slower but does the same job and might not strain your server, *should only be an admin command not a player one or you will get them removing everyones buildings.

Unless you want players to be able to destroy any base with a swing of the hammer, yes

That should be clarified in the plugin page.

There are no restrictions on all, structure, and external types. Please do not grant them to players

  • removertool.normal - Required to use normal remove
  • removertool.admin - Required to use admin remove. In this mode, any entity can be removed.
  • removertool.all - Required to use all remove.
  • removertool.structure - Required to use structure remove.
  • removertool.external - Required to use external remove.
  • removertool.target - Required to use 'remove.target' command
  • removertool.override - Required to use 'remove.allow' command

Dev probably thought that that was clear enough ?

Yes, but the first one is for players, so putting that above that confuses it. It should list the reset seperately and it should say "Admin permissions:" and list the others below it. I ran this for a year and a half before I found out that removertool.structure allowed players to remove bases that didn't belong to them. Luckily no one ever did that.

What ?,  even though it states quite clearly "dont give these to players" ? , not only that but "console" commands are usually admin only so players dont need any information regarding them anyway.

But that is about it i think, have fun with it.

It says "Don't give these to players" and then the first permission is for players.....

it says

So giving a NORMAL permission is not covered by that request, You dont grant them remove.all , remove.structure or remove.external or remove.admin , its really simple when you read it

last post for me

Well, I disagree and that's ok. People can disagree. I believe the author needs to make it clearer. That is all. There's no need to get into a huff simply because I don't see your point.
