Why am I spawning so many items?

oh thank you! the empty all containers problem was the cause.. the pack for the bases had contained previous loot in the TC. but i'm noticing that since on Expert bases... i have a total items in the loot pool down to about 90... so it's good loot... and the total amount that can spawn in a base at 175... does that mean all of the items are guaranteed to spawn atleast once? or does the base populate loot based on the probability numbers i give them up to it picking 175 items?

no problem

it depends on how it is configured. it will populate the rest based on what has default probability (1.0 or 100%)

if you have Check Lower Probability Once Per Loot Item enabled then probability is rolled once regardless of how many rolls are done in total to meet Amount Of Items To Spawn

if Allow Duplicate Items is false then it will roll once for everything and you will never hit 175 with only 90 items in the loot pool

the free version functions differently from this since I haven't update the loot system for it yet. iirc, it will just continue trying until it meets its limit regardless of what probability is set to. it's heavily reliant on you having sufficient loot available to avoid issues where probability might be ignored.

Ok so I have the paid version... so the "Check Lower Probability Once Per Loot Item" and I have 90 items in the loot pool (expert base), it will populate and duplicate those items based on probability? like... if something has a 1% chance to spawn, it will take that into account when populating the loot? as in something with 85% probability has a better chance of being duplicated than the item with 77%?
