I'm finding that bases spawn on the shoreline and rarely spawn inland. 

• Is there any way to control this?
• Is it due to my map not having level ground in other areas?
• I've tried setting "Maximum Elevation Level": 2.0, What seems to be a good setting for this?
• When setting this higher is there a need to set the height of the bases higher?
• What has been found to be a good combination?

Any help much appreciated.

I raised the elevation and then the height a little. It appears to be working better and it puts bases more inland.
