So I tried 20 times, and 200 times and 300 times, the speed of is the same in smelting, I suppose there is a limit to the rust engine's speed limit?

I had it to this. I can assure you setting multiplier to 20, 100, or 200, results in the same speed. I believe the engine can't go faster than 10 times or so. It still faster than vanilla but 100 or 200 should make smelting almost near instant on small stacks.
