i added the plugin to my server, but i have got a problem with setting it up.
I only installed the plugin and gave permissions. Without changing the smelting rates,
it already became faster. Normally it takes about 10 seconds so smelt iron ore.
Installing the plugin it went down to 3 (multiplier still at 1).

Could you have a look whats going on there?

This is due to plugin not really using the in-game system and overriding it.

Well, this makes the "multiplier" obsolete, because you dont know to what this multiplier applies.
For better configuration you should be able to specify it like the default:
X Fuel consumption every X seconds
Item X needs X seconds to smelt.
Multiplier X for Item X to smelt at once.

This way the plugin could be configured more precicely.
It also should resolve the overcooking problem, if you set those items to a way higher cooking time.
