Please add to the config a way to assign a time, instead of being affected by the rate, for food items:

This way a 500X smelt won't nuke meat instantly.  A white list that allows me to add meats and assign like a 3 second cook time until correctly cooked would be great.  Or even better would be a way to allow the player to choose a cook time, like maybe a Furnace Splitter UI type of a deal...
