The idea is simple. Once you are on a gyrocopter, a scrap helicopter or I presume soon on the nifty new cars, the engine is loud, making your friends on discord unhearable.
The idea is.. well.. earplugs :D When pressing a hotkey, certain game sound elements will be reduced but still hearable. Its what could matter, those extra seconds of alertness before being gunned down while a teammate wants to warn you.
