Hacky sex/race change plugin?

Hi,
I would like a sex/race change mod. Please don't attack me- I know this has been requested many times, but I had an idea. I was wondering if this is possible if you were to:
  1. Make the player's original character invisible
  2. Parent a playermodel of the preferred race/sex to the player
  3. Play animations on the model, mount armor to it, etc. as if it were the player's original model.
This should absolutely be possible, shouldn't it? I don't think the playermodels are actually generated. I don't have a full understanding of how it works but I'm pretty sure it just has a base model and head that it sews together and retextures/recolors.
Maybe the plugin can even be simpler than this. I don't think people have actually tried to just swap out the model before? Is this possible?

Pretty sure all of the player models are generated based on their Steam ID still, not really a static model.

Would it be possible to have a few players join a server and rip their models after they are generated, then apply the models from the server's files on demand to users? Obviously you wont have full customization but it's better than having a completely RNG character.
If this is against terms of service or something maybe people could just remodel a few characters and use those. HD models or something nifty.
Or maybe someone can reverse-engineer how the generation works and do it on demand. There's definitely templates it selects from and isn't just entirely procedural. Maybe someone can find these models in the files and work from there.

The models are generated client-side, not on the server, and are generated based on the Steam ID that each client receives from the list of players on the server.

May be possible to spawn a model based on another Steam ID and parent that to the player, but it'd be a bit of a challenge to get it to work right I'd imagine; if at all.

We could maybe change players  id so that it generates custom race sex but it can't be 100% correct and working , it may break plugins too.

Wouldnt that also effect players steam account information and validation ?
It has always been possible to create another account to try and change sex/ethnicity but you always stand the risk of creating another avatar with the same attributes as the one you already have,
I have never understood the problem,

Not sure what your problem is. This is posted in plugin requests therefore I am requesting someone to make it because I lack the skills to. I also never said this would be easy to make.
