There is actually a plugin I still use called "Inbound" which used to show a configurable "arrow" (as well as still showing coordinates of airdrop both before and after drop landed) which showed where the airdrop was, Unfortunately due to changes made by FP a year or so ago it altered the way that DDRAW works in the game so that only Admins can now see arrows  (if at all * as i dont see it) I will probably be corrected (in some way) for this opinion but it is correct  as far as i know. I use "Dangerous Treasures" plugin which will show  direction etc of treasure chest but that grants a temporary Admin permission (configurable) which enables it to work, some concerns have been voiced about that regarding the ability of hackers etc to exploit it but i have had no problems over the years i have been using it.
